David B. Weiss - Managing Principal

David B. Weiss has been active in the real estate investment business for 18 years. He is currently Managing Principal for Rangeline Capital, prior to which, he was Managing Director for the St. Louis office of Northmarq Capital, a dominant national mortgage and real estate investment banking company with annual placements exceeding $3 Billon through eleven regional offices. As Managing Director, David was responsible for directing the $700 million annual investment placement practice, administrative activities of the office plus oversight of a servicing portfolio approaching $1 Billion. David Joined Northmarq in 1994 as a Senior Producer and was promoted to Managing Director the next year. He had been a top volume producer since joining and was twice awarded the company's Top Gun honors for national investment volume production. Through the year 2001, David's career investment placement volume exceeded $2.5 Billion in a full range of transaction types including basic first mortgages, construction loans, tax oriented sale-leasebacks, mezzanine-structured investments, owner/user structures, and institutional joint ventures.

In the years preceding Northmarq, David held a series of ascending positions at Metropolitan Life Insurance Company. The culmination of the institutional experience was his appointment as the debt and equity production director for MetLife Real Estate Investments' St. Louis regional office. In this role, David was responsible for the all new debt and equity investments in a seven state territory, co-chairing the regional investment committee.

David holds a B.A. in Corporate Finance & Real Estate from Indiana University.
